We value parents’ experience

We value the experience of our parents and carers and strive to involve them as much as possible in the life of the Naíscoil. Parents are invited to join our management committee and share their learning and expertise with us. We would our parents to be part of our extended/blended family.

Parents can contribute by:

  • helping to settle their child into the Naíscoil

  • providing information about their child

  • attending or helping with information sessions/open days

  • becoming a member of the management committee

  • participating in parent support/focus groups

  • sharing a special interest, hobby or skill with children and adults in the Naíscoil

  • telling other parents about their experience of our Naíscoil

  • taking part in fundraising events

  • participating in social events and outingsCommunication with ParentsCommunication with Parents

Communication with Parents

Naíscoil staff use the Seesaw app to communicate with parents on a regular basis, which gives you a window into your child’s educational journey.

Staff keep parents informed about meetings, open days and our written policies.  Regular communication between staff and parents helps staff to support the holistic development of each child.
